Job Summary

A computer integrated systems design company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Portfolio Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Brainstorming and identifying inventions and assist in the preparation of invention disclosures
  • Maintaining invention records
  • Conducting prior art searches and evaluating the patentability of inventions

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering or related scientific discipline
  • 5 years relevant work experience
  • Experience working as a patent engineer for a law firm or corporate legal department or a Patent Agent
  • Ability to review and analyze technically complex documents
  • Knowledge of patent application process and familiarity with reviewing patents and invention disclosures
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and oral presentation
