Job Summary

A full-service mortgage services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Post Closing Forensic Underwriter.

Must be able to:

  • Review investor suspense conditions on closed loans to determine validity and/ or cure
  • Review closed loan files to ensure that the loan meets agency or lender guidelines
  • Communicate with Sales, Closing, Processing, Title Companies, etc. to cure defects

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience
  • Recent credit and appraisal experience in FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional Loan Programs
  • Experience auditing the work of others
  • Advanced knowledge of industry systems
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
