Job Summary
A global workforce solutions company is filling a position for a Telecommute PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing PostgreSQL databases for a software company's SaaS platform used by external clients
- Managing at least a 5-terabyte database
- Setting up PostgreSQL on AWS EC2 not using RDS or Aurora
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of PostgreSQL DBA experience
- 2+ years of strong AWS
- Amazon RDS
- Experience supporting and scaling a read intensive database
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up type environment
- This is a 6 month contract position
