Job Summary
A virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions company is in need of a Telecommute PreSales Solutions Architect in Palo Alto.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading elements of the pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical objectives, and product requirements
- Participating in regional marketing events
- Effectively communicating solutions architecture to the customer, third parties and the project teams
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent in region
- B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training
- 10+ Years of experience in a technical capacity in either Infrastructure, Development or Systems Management
- Minimum 5+ years business development experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment
- 4+ years as a technical solutions architect in a consulting environment
- At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments
