Job Summary
An aerospace and defense technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Principal Behavioral Modeling Engineer in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing behavioral models for analog, RF and IO blocks common to RFICs, ROICs, up/down converters, filters and regulator chips
- Developing the top-level simulation environment for an individual chip and multi-chip systems using the Virtuoso and Xcelium tools
- Performing modelling functions including ADCs, DACs, temperature sensors, test point selectors and signal attenuation and phase shift, HPAs and LNAs
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5 years experience with Bachelors in Science; or 3 Years with Masters; or 0 Years with PhD
- Working knowledge of Verilog, Verilog AMS, System Verilog and VHDL
- Familiarity with Virtuoso, ADE, and Xcelium tools from Cadence
- Proven capability to develop models from block diagrams and schematic inspection
- Ability to obtain a Secrity Clearnace
