Job Summary
A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Principal Climate Change Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Understand and document the technical requirements for the systems that will run new models
- Estimate the effort required to implement new or modify existing models
- Work closely with the scientists/modelers to code new models and improve existing models
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science plus a minimum of five years of experience, or
- Master’s degree in Computer Science and minimum of three years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with C++
