Job Summary
A software development company is seeking a Telecommute Principal Data Architect.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Guide teams to successful completions of data related projects
- Provide the vision for data strategy at Workfront for the next 3-5 years and the roadmap to achieve that vision
- Define the SAAS isolation model that allows customers security, performance and the ability to provide their own encryption keys
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A strong DevOps mindset
- 10+ years of programming experience with 5+ years of recent experience in modern languages and/or technology in use at Workfront
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in SQL, NoSQL, ETL modeling, data modeling, data caching, schema design and data warehouse architecture
- Extensive experience in big data technologies
- Experience with Cloud technologies for file storage, data persistence, caching and searching
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent) or equivalent experience
