Job Summary
A global healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Principal Data Engineer in Chicago .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and maintaining appropriate Data Analytics solution (in collaboration with ETL, data architecture, and business requirements) to support Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI capabilities
- Managing and designing reports/advanced analytics of the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Leading the Development/Operations teams that focus on Data, Applications Administration, ETL and/or Business Intelligence solutions
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel; 25 % of the time
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Data Analytics Technical Development and Solution experience
- 5+ years of SQL development including SQL Performance Tuning
- 3+ years of experience leading a project team as technical lead/architect or similar capacity
- 2+ Teradata or equivalent database management
