Job Summary
A cloud computing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Principal Data Scientist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Invent, build and scale new ways to secure Salesforce enterprise and Salesforce platforms and products
- Use big data and machine learning to advance analytics and threat detection techniques of many forms
- Own our solutions, from inception, through proof-of-concept, production-ready models
Qualifications for this position include:
- A related technical degree
- Demonstrated experience in machine learning and data mining
- Experience formulating and executing applied-research projects and assisting in their production implementation
- Strong fundamentals in applied statistics and probability
- Facility with big data analytics tools and distributed systems, Apache Spark, Flink, or Kafka
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
