Job Summary

A computer software company is in need of a Telecommute Principal DevOps Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services

Required Skills:

  • 8 or more years of software engineering or related exereince
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration
  • BS degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, shell scripting
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and to automate routine tasks
  • Experience with Windows operating systems administration and management
