Job Summary
A global healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Principal Machine Learning Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Improving and extending the analytic methods in our products
- Conducting hands-on data analysis and predictive analytics on large datasets
- Supporting and driving analytic efforts around machine learning and innovation
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BA/BS; MS or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing analytics with machine learning
- Strong proficiency in advanced data science tools such as R, Python, SQL, Spark and H2O
- Demonstrable experience developing and deploying analytic solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured data
- Experience breaking down and clearly defining problems
