Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Principal Network Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical design, strategic guidance, direction and support within the Engineering department
- Leveraging new ideas and the latest technologies, best practices and network engineering expertise
- Pushing the network forward to deploy new services and enhancements
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years of network engineering and/or operations experience in a service provider environment
- Extensive in JunOS on both M/T/MX and EX/QFX platforms
- Operational experience with Junos, scripting, automation, and netconf
- Advanced understanding of BGP, including traffic engineering, and failure mode analysis
- Solid understanding of OSPF-TE and the relationship of MPLS LSP to IGP
