Job Summary

A telecommunications company has a current position open for a Telecommute Principal Network Solutions Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Capturing operational and scale requirements of the customers environment
  • Supporting the engineering of Ciena software, applications, and APIs
  • Assisting in assessment of new product features

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel 25 to 50% to visit customers, and domestic and international travel to industry conferences and R&D sites
  • Bachelor’s Degree (CS, EE), or equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years telecommunications / industry technical experience
  • Software Engineering or Product Management/Development background
  • In depth knowledge of software systems, development, and operationalization
  • Deep understanding of software automation, SDN, Network Element APIs and assurance
