Job Summary
A cybersecurity company is in need of a Telecommute Principal Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being responsible and accountable for the company's Engineering security program
- Translating cybersecurity goals & objectives into best-practice controls that balance risk management with Engineering development
- Assessing current security tool portfolio, proposing changes to meet emerging threats and to otherwise improve capabilities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of direct cybersecurity experience, with a strong emphasis on engineering secure solutions
- Experience working with multiple operating systems, databases, and applications
- Experience with conducting technical security assessments and including developing or selecting criteria
- Experience with collecting information and comparing configurations against baselines
