Job Summary
An IT and computer services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Principal Software Development Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc
Qualifications for this position include:
- Proficiency in Java, C, C++, C# (or the like) and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc
- 5+ years experience delivering professional, high-quality software (varies depending on level)
- Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
