Job Summary
A behavioral health solutions company is filling a position for a Telecommute Prior Authorization Team Utilization Care Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Determine the appropriate level of care
- Preauthorize treatment for medical necessity
- Provide telephone triage and crisis intervention to callers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master's Degree or higher in a health related field
- Current, valid, unrestricted clinical license required
- 2 years of combined direct behavioral health clinical and managed care experience
- Must be educated in current principles and procedures of behavioral healthcare
- Must be educated in state specific expertise and knowledge of community resources
