Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute PRN Coder II in Brentwood.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working in conjunction with A/R team on follow up and resolution of coding related denials and rejections
- Coordinating and reconciling encounters to ensure complete charge capture
- Reviewing and coding clinical notes for physician documentation
Position Requirements Include:
- Incumbent is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of coding guidelines and relevant federal regulations
- Must be familiar with third party fee profiles and reimbursement requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in coding and/or reimbursement activities is required
- Must be proficient with eCW EMR, PatientKeeper charge capture system, and/or other related billing systems
