Job Summary
A software company is filling a position for a Telecommute Procurement Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services
- Developing, updating, maintaining detailed sourcing and category plans
- Interacting with key stakeholders building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5 years corporate purchasing/finance experience
- Values and builds strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers
- BA or BS
- Possesses strong negotiation skills
- Experience negotiating contracts of varying types from SAAS, to event venues, to hardware vendors
