Job Summary
A company that secures critical trade data by digitizing key trade documents is in need of a Telecommute Product Designer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Translating potential business requirements into low, mid, and/or high fidelity mocks appropriate to the maturity of the idea and intended next steps
- Creating other visual artifacts to articulate, inform and validate ideas (prototypes, sketches, workflow diagrams, journey maps, personas, etc.)
- Leading and developing user experience research plans to understand customer needs, opportunities and pain points
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to meet for in-person team building 1- 2 times per year
- Several years experience within the field of design / user experience
- Ability to provide a portfolio of related work demonstrating design experience and thought process
- Demonstrated ability to filter and advance design of features through the product lifecycle from research to production deployment, including requirement definition and quality assurance
- Proven strong design research skills including early ideation, research, tester recruitment, interface/interaction testing, and analysis
- Fluency with rapid design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Whimsical, Invision, Sketch to quickly communicate requirements
