Job Summary

A manufacturing company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Product Engineer in Huntersville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Hands-on prototyping skills to validate concepts
  • Generating 3D Models for developing concepts and for production release in Creo (Pro-E)
  • Developing innovative hand tool products and lead engineering activities for New Product Development programs

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in product design and development.
  • Experience with materials, manufacturing, machining, plating processes
  • Foundational knowledge of Metallurgy, Statics, Strength of Materials and FEA
  • Exposure to engineering documentation such as BOMs and Engineering Releases
