Job Summary
An online flower retailer is seeking a Telecommute Production and Inventory Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing our North America production team and liaise with and establish outsource/drop ship sites to increase productivity and capacity and minimize downtime
- Establishing inventory control practices and management standards for outsourced, drop ship and/or micro production sites to ensure inventory accuracy and quick discrepancy resolution
- Conducting time studies to determine production UPH by SKU and product
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 10 years experience setting up, running and managing non to semi-automated production floors and sites
- Proven strong knowledge of supply chain management with financial and business acumen
- Minimum of 8 years with a proven track record of success in leading and guiding indirect and direct team members
- Demonstrated solid, sound judgment and good intuition to make critical business decisions
- Proven knowledge of USDA, EPA and (CAL) OSHA regulations
- Ability to ceate standardized site flow(s), space per function, and facility/cooler layouts
