Job Summary
An information management solutions company has an open position for a Telecommute Professional Fee Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Applying Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting consistently and appropriately
- Performing concurrent ICD-10 and CPT coding analysis of medical records
- Reviewing large volumes of documents with high comprehension level
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 Year Degree or equivalent
- 5 or more years of coding experience, with emphasis and expertise coding professional fee services
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CCS-P credential from AHIMA
- Excellent knowledge of Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting as well as AHA/AMA/CMS coding resources to support audit findings
- Aptitude in the use of computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
