Job Summary

A non profit organization is seeking a Telecommute Program Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working closely with regional network members on project and meeting matters
  • Coordinating and recording action items from executive committee calls
  • Preparing communication products and project reports

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be based in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia area to attend relevant meetings, and be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • A Master’s degree or higher in a field relevant to START’s programs
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience working on global observations
  • Proven experience in project management and event coordination
  • Proven success cultivating and maintaining working relationship with a broad range of governmental and nongovernmental actors and institutions across sectors
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills
