Telecommute Project Manager

Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommute Project Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coordinating the transfer of information to and between the teams, sponsors, and greater community
• Organizing team meetings, helping your teams plan their roadmaps, and showing the teams how to improve their processes
• Managing risks and issues that might occur while executing a project

Required Skills:

• Willingness to travel internationally at least twice a year
• Solid UX background, with understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Knowledge of how to build great processes, no matter what tools the teams are using
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with many different audiences
• Knowledge of and experience with software development life-cycle process
• Experience with Free and Open Source Software culture
