Job Summary

An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Property Claims Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform field inspections on large and complex personal and commercial property claims
• Prepare estimates, negotiates and adjusts assigned claims
• Explain coverage to insureds and experts

Required Skills:

• Occasional travel required; a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required if traveling
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Eight years of claims adjusting experience
• Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of computers and claims systems
• Ability to provide superior claims service
