Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Provider Contracting Manager in the Pensacola Area.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Leading Provider Contracting within assigned market
- Providing effective operations management
- Applying economic and strategic planning models to all endeavors in your region
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel 50% throughout Northwest counties in FL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field; or 10+ years’ provider contracting experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive contracting experience for a national health plan
- Solid leadership/management experience including supervisory and team building
- Proven contract preparation skills, with an in-depth knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial trends in the provider contracting arena
