Job Summary

A major healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Provider Relations Advocate.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Proactively managing a portfolio of 40-45 provider groups within a defined geographic region
  • Educating providers on common billing practice errors, addresses questions related to affordability initiatives and reimbursement policies
  • Conducting Site Visits/Assessments

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be willing to travel up 50% within provider area
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 2 years of health care/managed care experience or in a sales/contracting role related to provider relations
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution
