Job Summary
A major healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Provider Relations Advocate.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Proactively managing a portfolio of 40-45 provider groups within a defined geographic region
- Educating providers on common billing practice errors, addresses questions related to affordability initiatives and reimbursement policies
- Conducting Site Visits/Assessments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel up 50% within provider area
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 2 years of health care/managed care experience or in a sales/contracting role related to provider relations
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution
