Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Provider Relations Specialist.

Must be able to:

• Drive the creation of processes and infrastructure for the network solutions team
• Manage responses to provider questions, working cross functionally to obtain clarity as needed
• Maintain repository of knowledge to support continued growth and organizational awareness

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Management, or related degree, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in working with health plans, specifically provider relations
• Experience developing and implementing provider and network programs, policies, and procedures
• Experience and interest in being a utility player on teams
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement principles and programs
• Interpret, apply, and explain applicable business processes, laws, codes, and regulations
