Job Summary
A public university with 19 schools and colleges on four campuses in Michigan has an open position for a Telecommute Public Health and Health Sciences Grant Research Assistant in Flint.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Focus time on researching, obtaining, and organizing best practices and policies for combating racism in various areas
- Research various areas that include: education, employment, food and water access, finance, housing, healthcare, criminal justice, policing, voting rights and the built environment that impacts the health and well-being of people of color
Qualifications Include:
- Current undergraduate student in good academic standing at the University of Michigan-Flint (3.0 GPA or higher)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google drive/email/calendar and documents
- Demonstrated good professional writing and commuication skills
- Proven positive service-oriented attitude
- Availablility of Wi-Fi connection and mobile devices for remote work
- Available for at least 4 hours per week
