Job Summary
A federally chartered corporation is in need of a Telecommute Public Health Electronic Case Reporting Lead.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Participate in the validation of production eCR feeds.
- Work with clinical partners to improve the timeliness, completeness, and validity of eCR data.
- Analyze production eCR feeds to ensure compliance with national standards.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's in informatics, computer science, information systems, microbiology, chemistry, public health or related, or experience
- Experience working with HL7 C-CDA eICR, XML, and HL7 V2, as well as experience with standard vocabularies
- Experience working with electronic laboratory reporting or electronic case reporting and analyzing data quality measures
- Ability to adapt communication for different audiences, including epidemiology and healthcare organizations
- Experience implementing interfaces from healthcare systems and electronic health record vendors
- Intermediate level coding experience in R Shiny and SQL. Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of epidemiology
