Job Summary

A software company is in need of a Telecommute Public Sector Sales Account Manager in the Chicago Area.

Must be able to:

  • Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs and offices to sell the company's solutions
  • Manage the account planning process
  • Develop new strategies for the company's offerings within key accounts

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Work in the field
  • 5+ years of field sales experience in state and local agencies
  • Record of working closely with customers to produce solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
  • Experience in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company
  • Broad understanding of the government acquisition process, specifically the government's IT acquisition process
