Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Telecommute Public Sector Sales Account Manager in the Chicago Area.
Must be able to:
- Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs and offices to sell the company's solutions
- Manage the account planning process
- Develop new strategies for the company's offerings within key accounts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Work in the field
- 5+ years of field sales experience in state and local agencies
- Record of working closely with customers to produce solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
- Experience in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company
- Broad understanding of the government acquisition process, specifically the government's IT acquisition process
