Job Summary
A software company has a current position open for a Telecommute Python and DevOps Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in product meetings and consulting with the team on priorities
- Producing fully-functional programs, including writing clean, tested code
- Creating robust solutions that follow security principles
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attend conferences
- Good expertise in programming with Python (experience with Django is required)
- Very good knowledge of Docker and related technologies, Linux system administration and the TCP/IP network stack
- Very good knowledge of web-related protocols
- Experience working with different IaaS providers, backing services and configuration management software
- Experience with zero-downtime deployment
- Experience with Django or other Python-based web frameworks
- Familiarity with git
