Job Summary

A software development company is seeking a Telecommute Python Cloud Services Senior Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build upon the SL1 platform to integrate with and monitor AWS and other cloud technologies
  • Contribute to building and maintaining highly scalable Python processes
  • Help make technical decisions within the team leading to high performance, maintainable solutions

Required Skills:

  • BS in CS or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in Software Engineering or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of the AWS platform and AWS services
  • AWS certification in the architect track or at the professional level
  • 2+ years using MySQL/NoSQL and have the ability to evaluate and write efficient queries
  • 2+ years using Linux with the ability to navigate, write scripts and work with packages
