A healthcare technology company is seeking a Telecommute Python Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Working with open-source tools like Spark, Hadoop, Docker, Airflow, Zeppelin
- Leveraging distributed computing and serverless architecture such as AWS EMR & AWS Lambda
- Developing pipelines for transforming data
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in programming in languages such as: Python, Ruby, Perl, C++, Java
- Expert knowledge of design patterns, multi-threaded systems, and automated unit testing
- Experienced in processing large scale data
- Experienced in writing scalable applications on distributed architectures
- Data driven with experience testing and measuring
- Able to review peer code and have your code reviewed
