A professional employment agency and recruiting service has a current position open for a Telecommute Referral Specialist in Long Beach.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing daily pre-certification billing activities and communications between customers and insurance companies
• Creating patient accounts with critical data for project organization in a centralized database
• Contacting applicable insurance companies and relay pertinent patient information to them for billing and medical pre-authorization purposes

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to attend in person trainings and meetings from time to time in Long Beach
• HS Diploma and 1+ year of professional work experience
• Previous work in billing offices or in clinical settings
• Demonstrated skillfulness with medical terms
• Proven experience self-managing and motivating to work through independent projects
• Ability to document information from insurance entities and gather into appropriate databases
