Job Summary
A manufacturing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Regional State Government Affairs Manager in the Midwest Region.
Must be able to:
- Represent the company before, interact with, and lobby state and local governments in the assigned Midwest region
- Draft testimony, responses, comments and other research when necessary
- Monitor legislative activity in assigned region and identify issues of relevance to the company's state and local agenda
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years’ combined experience working as a legislative aide at the state level, state employee in a relevant state government department or agency, contract lobbyist, corporate lobbyist and/or association lobbyist
