Job Summary

A manufacturing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Regional State Government Affairs Manager in the Midwest Region.

Must be able to:

  • Represent the company before, interact with, and lobby state and local governments in the assigned Midwest region
  • Draft testimony, responses, comments and other research when necessary
  • Monitor legislative activity in assigned region and identify issues of relevance to the company's state and local agenda

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ combined experience working as a legislative aide at the state level, state employee in a relevant state government department or agency, contract lobbyist, corporate lobbyist and/or association lobbyist
