Job Summary
A company that provides cost containment services is filling a position for a Telecommute Registered Nurse Bill Auditor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Generating all potential review notices regarding denial
- Evaluating bills assigned for audit and communicate with coordinator, if audit potential is poor
- Coordinating all audit activity with the appropriate hospital personnel to schedule and finalize audits
Skills and Requirements Include:
- May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs
- Current RN Licensure
- Accredited RN Education Program
- 3 year clinical experience
- 1 year experience in line item review/audits of hospital bills
- Working knowledge of workflow management and electronic case file systems
