Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommute Registered Nurse Medical Review Coder in Towson.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing of medical records and associated claims in the course of fraud
- Using knowledge of healthcare coding conventions
- Performing proactive record review
Position Requirements Include:
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- 8+ years of related experience in medical review
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Certified Coder
- Extensive knowledge of ICD9, ICD10, CPT, HCPCS, APC, DRG, Revenue Codes
