Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Registered Nurse Renal Case Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Engaging patient, family, and caregivers telephonically
- Providing member education
- Identifying patient needs
Qualifications Include:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Current, unrestricted RN license, specific to the state of employment or a compact nursing license
- Case Management Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
- 3+ years of managed care and/or case management experience
- 3+ years of diverse clinical experience
- Knowledge of utilization management, quality improvement, and discharge planning
