Job Summary

A non-profit health and well-being organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Reporting and Analytics Epidemiologist in Richmond.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Participating in and coordinating ongoing testing, implementation, and evaluation of dashboards and other reporting features
  • Analyzing data and responding to requests in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Functioning as a resource to effectively meet the public health reporting and analytic needs of state and local partners responding to the COVID-19 pandemic

Position Requirements Include:

  • MPH or Masters Degree or equivalent similar degree or experience and at least one year of public health experience
  • Experience using database and statistical analysis programs, such as SAS
  • Experience using SQL or SOQL
  • Experience developing reports using Tableau or other data visualization software
  • Knowledge of public health, disease surveillance, healthcare informatics/surveillance systems and epidemiologic practices
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and evaluate information to analyze, summarize, and prepare reports
