Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Research Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Present timely, readily digestible summaries in response to questions or with regard to legislative reviews
- Research legal and non-legal topics in response to questions from attorneys
- Review, evaluate, edit and draft federal, state and local legislation, regulations and rules
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience using policy tracking software, preferably Fiscal Note or Quorum
- Comfort working directly with legislators, legislative staff members and regulatory bodies
- 5+ years of prior relevant experience in a fast-paced professional legal or policy environment
- Stellar written communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated skill in research and writing, specifically in interpreting complicated legalese and simplifying them
