Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Residential Mortgage Loan Underwriter in Memphis.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and analyzing residential mortgage loan requests
- Reviewing financial statements, credit reports, ratios, etc
- Validating income and employment information
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to be onsite for training, remote thereafter
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years' minimum previous retail or mortgage underwriting experience
- Strong understanding of financial institution lending in all areas
- Previous experience with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac guidelines and procedures
- Knowledge of and adherence to various mortgage lending regulatory requirements
