Job Summary
A mortgage company has a current position open for a Telecommute Residential Mortgage Underwriter in Athens.
Must be able to:
- Perform detailed underwriting analysis on all BB&T Mortgage loan products
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending products
- Request additional information and/or documentation from Mortgage Loan Processors
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Remote within a 2 hour drive to the reporting hub in Greenville SC
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and related training
- Four years of mortgage loan underwriting experience or equivalent
- Ability to utilize mortgage automated processing system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications
