Job Summary

A media company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Retail Editor in New York City.

Must be able to:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the company newsletter production process
• Write stories if and as needed
• Generate, develop, and execute ideas for non-newsletter products and other special editorial projects

Qualifications Include:

• At least 3 years of professional experience editing content for a retail audience OR 5+ years of experience editing content for a B2B audience
• Ability to write in the company style (engaging, informative, clever)
• Ability to intentionally experiment with, iterate on, and make hard decisions about new product offerings
• Deep knowledge of and interest in the retail/e-commerce industry
• Excellent communication skills with a mindset for collaboration
• Experience managing a team of writers
