Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Revenue Cycle Appellate Clinician in Frisco.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Recovering revenue associated with disputed/denied clinical claims or those eligible for clinical review
  • Preparing and documenting appeal based on industry accepted criteria
  • Performing retrospective medical necessity reviews to determine appellate potential of clinical disputes

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must possess a valid nursing license
  • Minimum of 5 years recent acute care experience with the last 2 years in a facility environment
  • Minimum of 2 years UR/Case Management experience within the last 2 years
