Job Summary

A substance abuse and addiction treatment company is seeking a Telecommute Revenue Cycle Billing Operations Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Oversee billing, prior authorization, and patient financial accounts staff to maximize cash flow and maintaining an effective cross functional revenue cycle team
• Oversee the revenue cycle process in various aspects, such as account management, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and denials management
• Analyze data to identify trends related to denials and rejections; develop and execute plans to avoid, reduce and resolve denials and rejections that are due to coding errors

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent and minimum of five (5) years managing a coding and performance-focused team
• Coding certification or relevant certification through AAPC or AHIMA
• Knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement and third-party payer regulation and medical terminology
• Experience with performance management strongly preferred
• Knowledge of or propensity to learn about chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communities is preferred
• Demonstrated strong understanding of the entire revenue cycle along with expertise in utilizing analytics to identify and address revenue cycle challenges
