Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Revenue Cycle Clinician in Frisco.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform retrospective medical necessity reviews to determine appellate potential of clinical disputes
- Construct and document a succinct and fact-based clinical case to support appeal
- Assist Law Department with any medical necessity reviews as capacity allows
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; either to facility sites, National Insurance Center (NIC) sites, Headquarters or other designated sites
- Minimum of 5 years recent acute care experience with the last 2 years in a facility environment
- Must possess a valid nursing license (Registered or Practical/Vocational)
- Minimum of 2 years UR/Case Management experience within the last 2 years
