Job Summary
An insurance agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute RN Nurse Educator in Davidson County.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Educating providers on issues such as Medicare coverage, utilization statistics, documentation, and medical review
- Conducting formal conference calls and/or in-person educational visits
- Researching, composing, and coordinating the preparation of all regulatory based provider education materials
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- May involve travel to/from provider locations and may involve travel within/outside of state
- Knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Good judgment skills
- Effective customer service, organizational, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
