An employee experience platform has a current position open for a Telecommute Ruby on Rails Engineer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing REST APIs to be used by our web client, mobile clients, and our customers
- Writing reliable tests and reviewing others’ code to help keep the bugs out
- Collaborating with other team members to creatively solve problems
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
- 5+ years of experience developing web applications
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Proficiency in in data mappers such as Mongoid or Active Record
- Experience with and a passion for automated testing
