A healthcare organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Ruby on Rails Web Software Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Interpret requirements, develop new features, QA/testing, and maintenance

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Proficiency with full-stack web development using Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency hand-coding websites with standards compliant XHTML & CSS
  • Proficiency with JavaScript & jQuery & AJAX
  • Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL and writing queries by hand
  • Experience with Automated Testing (TestUnit, Selenium, Rspec, Capybara, etc)
  • Proficiency with Git
